Savage and Dean Velvel discuss how Bush and Cheney with the help of Gonzalez and Yoo worked to extend the power of the president from Supreme Court nominations, to signing statements, to warrantless wire tapping programs to Iraq to Guantanamo Bay. Savage also goes into detail about how Cheney’s work for both the Nixon and Ford administrations paved the way for the Bush administrations executive power agenda.
